Some information on Publius Ovidius Naso (Ovid)

Here I collected some links I found on the Net concerning the poet Ovid in particular, of which some have links to Latin in general.

• Project Libellus, Latin texts of classic authors. Only one text by Ovid: EPISTULAE HEROIDUM (FTP, in TeX format).

• Ovid and others, Complete English translation of the Amores, Ars Amatoria, Remedia Amoris, the Heroides, and the Metamorphoses. Available in HTML, PDF and Word formats. Lots of other poetry.
• Ovid Metamorphoses.
• The Ovid Project: Metamorphosing the Metamorphoses.
• Z. Philip Ambrose's collection of slides on mythology, making heavy use of Ovid's Metamorphoses.
• Ovid's "Ars Amatoria" (The Art of Love), "Elegies". Unfortunately, this site is frequently unreachable. However, there seems to be a mirror available at this site in Spain.
• Kirke (Katalog der Internetressourcen für die Klassische Philologie aus Berlin) at the Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany has some nice pages containing links to on-line texts, magazines, libraries and such. Some about Ovid and a lot about Latin and Greek in general (German language only).
• Recent Ovidian Bibliography is a fully searchable and frequently updated database of publications relating to Ovid from 1990 until the present.
• The classics page at Ad Fontes academy has lots of texts in Latin of many authors, including, of course, Ovid.
• A few quotations, part of Familiar Quotations, by John Bartlett, which is part of the Bartleby library.
• The Perseus digital library, ancient Latin and Greek texts, and translations into English. Ovid's Metamorphoses and Ars Amatoria are available in English here.
